 Week 5, Term 1, 2021



Monday was our school Swimming Sports. On the day I swim six lengths one length freestyle two length free

One length back two-length back one length breath and two length breath and I came first in all of them!!


We had two art sessions this week and I loved cut ing all the fabrics and putting them in a triangular shape


In reading this week we have been reading bad guys 3 and now bad guys 5


Part of our maths program is NumBots and I think I am doing pretty good I’m on bronze

Tower Challenge

Today it was the Whetu tower challenge I worked with Chrysler, Jasmine, and Heidi, at first we made a base so the tower could stand on it, the base made it very easy to hold the tower. It was pretty tall at first but then we saw the other team next to us and there's was already at the roof so we had to make ours bigger so we made it bigger but it kept on falling over so we just cut it in half so it could stand. Overall our tower was 156cm tall .

Sol's Whetu Fun Day

  Whetu Fun Day Last Thursday we had a Whetu Fun Day as our camp was postponed.  Our teachers planned a fun day for us instead!  We participated in a Whetu Amazing Race, a range of different fun rotations, a BBQ lunch and play on the council playground then we finished the day with an Easter Egg hunt and an ice block. My favorite part of the Amazing Race was going around Ngatea and working with my team to find out the clues. The rotation I enjoyed the most was the Steam challenge I worked with Miller, Kian, and Cody we had to dress Miller in a bunny.    During the Easter Egg Hunt, I found my stick on a tree and ran to the deck
